In 1967 The manager of the Burberry store in Paris decided to turn the Burberry hem facing outward to add a splash of colour to the window display. Up until that point Burberry trench coats were normally a Khaki or similar colour on the outside with the Burberry “Nova Check” hidden on the inside. From that point the Burberry tartan pattern became more and more famous and associated with the brand.
The Veselka Paris Burberry was designed to mark that momentous event which forever influenced later Burberry designs. Made in a range of faux leather colours including black the lining of the harness is nova check or plaid tartan the inner lining is turned out on the back to form a collar and on the chest to form a v shape with bow tie. Later Paris harness models where further enhanced with a zip along the back of the harness to make it easier to put over your dogs head. You can request this harness in black and with a zip.
